Desk+Rackmount Kit for FC-16
Overview:
FC-16 can be installed in many different locations depending on user needs:
In a rack, next to other gear
Under a desk or console near the sweet spot
Inside a rack or equipment cabinet so it doesn’t take up any space
Or even wall-mounted in a closet or machine room of a remote truck or broadcast center
To accommodate all this, we designed this Desk+Rackmount Kit. The two-piece “clamp” design securely holds FC-16 and takes up only one half-rack of space. It has various holes on the bottom to maximize flexibility in placement.
Since there is no accepted standard hole pattern for rackmount trays, we include a PDF with our hole centers marked for easy positioning. You can print this document at 100% size and use it as template for drilling holes to position FC-16 exactly where it is needed. If you use the popular Unirack II 1U tray from RME, you’re in luck. Our kit has compatible holes making it easy to place FC-16 next to your half-rack RME products.

Important Note: This kit includes screws and nuts to hold the FC-16 itself, but it does not include screws or other fastening hardware for attaching the kit to a rack, desk or other surface. This is because metal, wood, drywall, brick, etc. all have different requirements for mounting and it is up to users to mount the kit safely where needed.
