Shipping & Return Policy

PART 1: SHIPPING POLICY

1. Order Processing

Orders are generally processed within 2–4 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Processing times may vary based on product availability or order volume. A shipping confirmation with tracking information will be sent by email once your order ships.

2. Shipping Rates & Delivery

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on location, package size, and shipping method. Typical delivery times:

• Domestic (U.S.): 3–7 business days

• International: Varies by destination

Note: Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may be affected by carrier delays.

3. International Orders (Customs, Duties & Taxes)

Customers ordering from outside the United States are responsible for all customs duties, tariffs, import taxes, VAT, and any other fees imposed by their country. These charges are not included in the order total or shipping cost and are collected by the destination country's customs authority. We have no control over these fees and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for more information and understand the fees before placing an order with us. Refused or unclaimed shipments due to unpaid customs fees will not be refunded.

4. Carriers

We typically ship via UPS though this may vary depending on package size and destination.

5. Shipping Address

Customers are responsible for entering an accurate shipping address at checkout. Strange Science Instruments is not liable for orders shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer. If a package is returned due to an address error, additional shipping charges will apply to reship.

6. Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages

If tracking shows delivery but you have not received the package, contact the carrier first. Strange Science Instruments is not responsible for packages lost or stolen after confirmed delivery. We will assist with carrier claims where possible. Delays due to carrier issues, weather, or other external factors are beyond our control.

7. Damaged Shipments

Customers must report damaged shipments to us within 7 days of delivery. Please provide photos of the shipping box, the damaged item, and all packaging materials. Resolutions may include a replacement, repair, or refund per our Return Policy below.

PART 2: RETURN POLICY

1. Return Eligibility

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, undamaged, and returned in original packaging with all components. Opened, installed, assembled, modified, or used items are not eligible for return.

2. How to Return an Item

Email us at support@strangesci.com to start a return. Please include relevant details including:

• Your order number

• Returned item(s) and quantity

• Reason for return

• Your contact details (name, email, and phone number)

We will respond with return instructions. Note that return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. Please securely pack items using original packaging to prevent damage in transit.

3. Refunds & Exchanges

Returned items are inspected upon receipt, typically within two business days. Note that approved refunds may take up to 10 business days due to the payment processor and/or payment method.

To request an exchange, note the replacement item in your return request. Exchanges are subject to availability and approval by Strange Science Instruments.

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for return or refund unless received damaged or defective:

• Opened, installed, assembled, or used items

• Customized or personalized products

• Digital downloads or electronic files

• Consumable items

• Clearance or final-sale items

5. Damaged / Defective Products

Please report damaged or defective products within 7 days of delivery. Photos or other documentation may be required to assess the issue. Resolutions may include a replacement, repair, or refund at our discretion.

6. Before You Return

Please contact us at support@strangesci.com before initiating a return. Many issues can be resolved through troubleshooting.
